In art, there's always been pictures of people asleep (especially girls!) and the mysteries of their dreamlike states unfolding around them.
In this painting, I tried to capture that, as well as the interaction between the inner and the outer worlds - the conflict within the world of imagination and the world of production and serial numbers.
He likes doodling while you think he’s listening. He plays with his food, which he ordered too spicy anyway. His art is spread on napkins, walls, drum kits, canvases and unsuspecting cats.
