Here's a painting I'm thinking about making a few adjustments to. Man vs Lion, inspired by Rubens and Delacroix treatments of similar themes. I am planning to do more pics on this theme in the future as I find the big cats fascinating, especially in combat.
The hunter was interesting - originally a warrior/gladiator character, somehow transforming into a light grey humanoid ninja. Thinking about giving him some blue tattoos now, not quite sure...
