Just finished this one yesterday. For this post, I'll show the process from start to finish. First, the sketch, pencil on bond paper, A3 size.
Next, I created a background with brown and blue. Acrylic on paper. I used a Dutch Etching paper that I found in the art store.
Now I transferred the drawing onto the background and inked it with a fine brush. I applied medium to trap the drawing.
Painting the image in, building up the layers.
The final image, acrylic on paper.
