Sketches + Rembrandt

Here are a couple more sketches, sitting in the cafe. Some friends and I discovered a cafe that has a great coffee + ham and cheese croissant deal, with the added bonus of being a great place to sit and draw!





I love the old masters, always have. Being half dutch I do feel a closeness to the Dutch painters. I guess its just seeing the culture through my father or something like that. So, I succumbed to the genius of Rembrandt and decided to make a study. I will limit myself to black, white, brown, maybe blue later on if I feel its needed.
