Ouch. I did my back less than two weeks ago playing basketball, leaving me in a whole world of pain. Could barely walk, and going to the toilet was an almighty struggle.
One benefit of being stuck in bed was that it gave me a lot of time to reflect. I started looking at my old sketchbooks, thinking about where I want my art to progress, and wondered if I was devoting enough time to what I want to do. The very act of looking became more important, as that was pretty much the only thing I could do while lying in bed.
I scanned in some of my work from older sketchbooks also. I plan to show more and more of these in future posts. So first up, here are some life drawings from my 2008 moleskine . . .
