Girl Reading in Park

This is a large-scale drawing in which I tested several ideas running through my work at the moment. Most of it deals with fragmentation and layering, and the creation of space that reflects mental, emotional and physical experiences.

As abstract as these pictures may appear, to me they are anything but as I feel I am completely tied into the issues of representation. A line drawing or a smudge can represent a face, a feeling, depending on my intentions. This is something I find exciting and continue to explore.
