Illustration: Rocker Chick

In this illustration, I enjoyed playing around with the classic theme of a girl and a guitar. Its actually interesting to look over old paintings, and witness how this theme has evolved over time. Now, I got a girl with a Gibson coloured on the computer!

This was drawn with both brush and nib and ink, and then coloured in Photoshop. I was really aiming for punchy, dynamic colours, and that's the one thing I love about digital colour - the ability to play with colours, to push and pull their various attributes until you feel satisfied.
